We bought a van on 15th of October 23 from Ben Whitcombe LTD for £1800, within 6 months it broke down and became a non runner. Needed a new engine/ been in garage since April trying to get an engine. Unfortunately unable to get an engine, so only thing we can do is Scrap it. Spoke with Ben today and he offered me 120 pounds for scrap. This is my Honest experience.

A blight on the area, this scrapyard dramatically brings down the area. Its unnecessary placement amongst a residential area is not very good. This place often holds up traffic on the main Alder Road due the movement of lorries and metal between the two sites on the road. Let us also not forget the massive car fire that Nelson Stanley was responsible for back in the noughties that caused catastrophic damage and downing power cables, Please help the local area by boycotting this scrap metal dealer and going to someone who is outside residential areas, like Trent's on Ringwood Road

Really good. Hundreds of cars. I went for Honda Civic Mk8 parts and they had 6 in various states of disrepair so got everything I needed. Friendly bunch too and fair prices. Highly recommended

Radstock metals is a very good car breakers with very fare prices on parts across the board. Although at times the staff are very busy they always find the time to help me out if I need it. Would highly recommend to all as if you ask for help from the word go your experience will be great.
