The only place I know that will weigh non ferrous metals like copper lead and brass and give you a cheque to the name on your ID for the value . I was really surprised as got £85 for a box of mixed metals I found in my garage !

Nervous of making my first trip to a scrap yard, I was instantly reassured by the kind and helpful staff. Scrap metal prices are low at the moment but every little helps and I didn't feel intimidated or embarrassed to be dropping off my buckets of bolts.

Previous posting was an error 5 stars for the driver he was professional made a sort of sad occasion into a positive event. i was feeling a bit sad even though it is only a piece of metal but it has been our piece of metal for 10 years it just not repay the care it had received.
