Needed to dispose of my old metal garden table and chairs. I would have had to go to all the bother of using a angle grinder to cut table down to a size so that would fit in my car and make several trips to the tip. Phoned Gillett's recycling. Was answered by a polite gentleman, told him what I wanted collecting. He asked me to text the items that needed to be collected and address. This was in the morning and he said he would collect items in the afternoon or the next morning. When I got home after work in the evening the items had gone. Very pleased with the service and would highly recommend Gillett's recycling for all your scrap metal disposal. I found Gillett's recycling a polite, professional and prompt friendly service.

Contacted them for a replacement engine. Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. The engine given was faulty and not allowing any reasoning. Would not recommend or use!

Fantastic people to deal with originally I found a car breaking on Facebook marketplace started chatting with them and realising these are a legitimate seller fully went ahead with the purchase of my Audi radio from them. I bought a damaged transit minibus from H and which, I intend to convert it to a motor caravan.. I am extremely pleased with both the van, and the courteous and professional way in which we agreed on the price for the van. I had to pay for the van before it was delivered, and for obvious reasons, I was very worried. However, within an hour H ( the boss) drove into my unit, as agreed and delivered the van, right on time. I would have no hesitation in dealing with Thames Street Salvage again.
