Scrap Yards & Car Breakers in Prestwich Borough of Bury, England

After searching all breakers yards for BMW series 3 seats in the Blackpool, Preston area with no luck. Needed to replace the front seats for bucket seats previous owner had fitted. Called this company and got full set of leather seats for a really good price, seats in really good condition for age, only needed a clean and spruced up with coloured leather balm. Will definitely be my first port of call if need more parts.

Firstly, I need to explain that I never post a review by reading any of the other reviews about a business. That way my reviews are always unbiased and based upon my own personal experiences of dealing with the business in question. I must admit to being saddened to see the low score (3.3 when this review was written) as my dealings with Dannny and his team have been nothing short of superb. I've bought two engines from him so far, via that well known online auction site. Now, as anyone who knows anything about cars will tell you, buying a 2nd hand engine is dangerous in itself. Buying it from that auction site makes it doubly dangerous, but even worse, when it's a VW BCA engine the danger level goes into the red as they are horrid little engines! However, Danny promised to send me a good one, and even though the engine was advertised as "a bare engine", he left on a massive number of very useful parts. That's a tremendous bonus! There was quite a delay in getting the engine fitted, between the weather and working hours etc, but I got there in the end and gingerly turned the key in the ignition and it started first time! Now, anyone who knows modern engines knows that the hydraulic tappets take time to pump up to full pressure so the engine will sound clattery to start with. This often terrifies the uninitiated! Within minutes the engine settled down to a perfect idle and sounded so sweet I was shocked! So, from my experiences at least, Danny and his team are the good guys. They have done me proud, and that is why they receive the full five stars. The engines arrive on time, very carefully wrapped, and okay maybe I was lucky having some extra parts left on the engine, but the best thing was that the engine was great, as was the communications with Danny and his team, so I just can't fault them. -------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: I am not employed by this business, nor am I in any way connected with them. Filled in the online form, got a call back saying they'd take my car as scrap and they picked it up too. Nice polite people too.

I found these guy's initially from a Google Search as I needed an E30 sunroof after trying many BMW Breakers between Bolton, Liverpool, Manchester and surrounding areas having no luck. After 1st impressions speaking with a gentleman called James I was in luck. I ended up going to collect the part today and ended up buying a few more bits which I needed for my car. I was very impressed with these guy's as they was very helpful, professional and friendly sorted me all the bits I needed; a very valuable connection if you are into your classic BMW's or a BMW collector. They packed all the items and loaded everything into my car. Thank you for a 10/10 service and look forward to coming back to you for future bits.
