Called A W Smith this morning. By 3pm today the scrap metal we had was collected and the money was in my bank account. Fantastic service from friendly, professional people. I would highly recommended.
A great family-run scrapyard, with polite and helpful staff. I regularly visit A W Smith and have always received a fair price, their immediate online bank transfer system also means that the payment is in my bank before I’ve even left their yard. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to cash in on their scrap metal.

Phoned them at 9.30 this morning and they were here before 10.30 in Southsea. Very quick and easy service. He sorted out all the paperwork online, so I didn't have to and gave me exactly what he quoted. This was a brilliant service and although I had to get rid of my old car which I loved, TS made it incredibly easy and manageable. I would strongly recommend using them, very friendly and reliable. Thanks so much!
Quick load and turn around, good to see the yard is filling with scrap again and business is picking up and returning to normal levels hopefully, as last time I visited it was like the Marie Celeste 😀
